There is so much more that goes into building custom homes than just having the knowledge and skills to do so. It is important that you have the right person leading the operation from the very beginning to very end. That is why I would like to tell you a little bit of who I am and my life journey.

My Journey

I was born 1965, in Orange County, California. My family moved up to Reno, Nevada when I was 11 years old. I played baseball and football at Wooster High School at which I also graduated from. From there I went to play baseball at Moorpark Community College and Fresno State, where I studied Construction Management. I transferred to the University of Nevada, Reno for my senior year. I was selected in the major league baseball draft a total of three times. At the University of Nevada, Reno I met my beautiful wife, Anne. Eventually playing baseball came to an end. I started working for a custom home builder here in Reno at age 23. I learned very quickly since I have always had a passion for working hard and being on a construction site. After 4 years of learning every step to build a custom home with perfection and care, I built my first custom home. My next move was working for two contractors at one time, rough framing and foundations by day and finish work by night. I did this for 2 years before deciding I was ready to get my own contractors license. From there things took off. I built a couple of spec homes and before I knew it I was building five big custom homes at once. Anne and I decided we were ready to start a family and ended up having 3 kids. Timmy, Tommy, and Alexa. My daughter at just 18 months developed Type I Diabetes. This crushed me seeing my little princess have to take shots everyday and live her life differently then the rest of us. Tommy ended up also developing Type I Diabetes at age 7, this really pushed my wife and I to do what we could to help find a cure for Type I Diabetes. We donate every year to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) hoping that it will be the year that they find a cure. I am so proud of how strong my son and daughter are and how they go through life with such a positive mindset, not letting their illness get to them. Both my boys played/ play college baseball and my daughter is looking forward to attending college as well, as she is finishing up high school. As a family we couldn't imagine living anywhere else than the Reno/Tahoe area. Our family loves the outdoor recreational activities, such as, skiing, fishing, golfing, and hiking. Anne and I have enjoyed our time here in Reno where I have been building luxury custom homes for 24 years and Anne selling luxury homes for over16 years.
